Hello Everyone! I'm a first time poster here, so please bear with me if I am starting a thread that has already been started. I am a Newbie as it pertains to "References." I have been in the hobby for many years, but over the last for years, I have been in retirement. Well, as life would have it, my reference are now out of date. To be more frank, they are old (2007, 2008). I had written a few reviews here, but I have no White List cache either here or Date Check. What is the best way of getting referenced up?

The reviews you have, all three ladies are well reviewed and well recpected, and still in the biz.
Send them and email, see if they remember you, and ask for a reference.

I assume you are a gentleman and would send a respectful email, perhaps with something about the encounter with the lady to help her remember.

I believe for gentlemen, they verify your identity using credit card info and employment details. If you had been verified by them, I think some ladies would feel a lot more comfortable seeing someone with few references

Thanks! I actually did that and it seems as though they are being responsive. I'm a Date-Check member and one was added as a reference. The other said she would love to, but because it was beyond 12 months, she couldn't. However, we will continue to see. Thanks!

Yes, I am on DC and I have a few references. My concern is that they are old. Thanks for the advice.

It was rather frustrating because I kept getting rejected, but I eventually found some nice people that would do a light screening on me. Don't go for popular VIP ones, but you'd have more luck with newer, unknown providers. Also, many agencies would also do light screening and verify your date-check account.
