Yes there probably is a double standard in regards to what you are terming as "female BBFS". That is no doubt largely in part to overall unfamiliarity with tribadism by the general populace. But that's not my problem. I haven't heard a peep from anyone but you about it so far. I expect that most providers do engage in "BBFS" during their duos with another provider.... at least the "really bi" ones anyway :D

Is it the actual risk of the act itself that seems to upset you so, or the fact that a double standard exists?

And for the record - I have only once engaged in tribadism with a provider in all of my many encounters. It's not something that I typically look for in a session.

I didn't think safe sex was gender based.   No judgements, to each their own and all that.  Seems like a double standard though   If a male hobbyist were to come on this board and admit to BBFS with all the providers he'd seen, well....   thoughts of Hiroshima come to mind.

do not consider genital rubbing (P2P for M-F) part of BBFS, so I would think scissors during an F-F session would be the same.  What am I missing?

Female to female genital P2P is a lot more risky than a stripper slide because of the likelihood of exchange of bodily fluids.  That's how diseases are transmitted.  But that's not what I was talking about.  

My point was that Lopaw, being a woman can apparently talk about what is essentially BBFS in all respects except actual penetration with impunity.  But if you did that, as a male, you would likely be eaten alive here.  That's all I'm talking about.

Other than, yes my point is the apparent double standard in TER board discourse and that is my only point. I could seriously not care less about what you and whoever or whatever do behind closed doors.  Nuff said.

As a provider, I also prefer to use the female condom. However, below are a few terms I have used and make me crack up like a middle schooler. And admit it - you would too.  

"Venus Cover"  
"Bulletproof Vest" - obviously not but still
"Insurance Policy"
"French Letter"  
"Naughty Bags"
