IMHO, quality is much better than quantity regarding an escort's portfolio. That said, I don't really mind if she has a lot of photos as long as I don't have to wait... and wait... and wait for all the photos to load and I can quickly and easily view whichever photo I want to see. Also, not posting a lot of the same looks or not posting very similar photos helps to keep my interest while browsing.
Keeping photos current should be a given and be sure to display quality photos as that can only help a lady's business. I'm surprised that the majority of women in this business don't place a higher value in their photos because I tend to see way too many bad quality photos. For the past couple years, short video snippets have started becoming popular. I've seen some very well shot videos from 30 seconds to 2 minutes (for the most part) that can really help market a lady's brand.I am curious...when it comes to photos in the gallery of an escorts website site, is there such as thing as too many. Would you rather it just be a small handful of the most recent, say 10 to 20 pics...of do you say the more the better from current to years past ?

I'd say that 10-20 is nice and manageable, but you can have a ton if they're well organized.
In the ad world, your average attention span is around 15 seconds. How many pictures can you digest in 15 seconds? Maybe like 3-4, so you have to make sure that those first, easily accessible 3-4 images are fantastic and current because they might be all someone ever sees.
I know that most providers likely don't have google analytics installed on their pages for privacy reasons, but I can tell you, your website can bounce potential customers if you're not giving them the good stuff right away. In this industry, that's photos, rates, call to action, booking, in that order.

From a consumer's standpoint, I'd say the more information, the better and that includes photos. It's helpful when they're dated, like yours. I also really appreciate a few selfies.
I take lots of selfies for my twitter and most of the time I end up posting them to my "selfies" section of my website photo albums, but I keep it very organized and label everything so potential clients get more in depth look at me haha.
