Try arroyo grande trail in Henderson. It's about 3miles and best at night with the view. Also, Lake Mead has beautiful trails. Las Vegas strip at 5-7am is perfect for jogging.

Hello, I am new to Las Vegas and want to make sure I am safe! I enjoy starting my day off with a few mile jog. I would love some suggestions from locals on where to run with a beautiful view that is also safe! Thank You!

Also, maybe some locals could recommend a safe area with great scenery such as a park for joggers that is away from the strip. I usually see joggers up and down the strip during the early morning but I don't know if I may turn in an unsafe shady area.

If you enjoy tail running Red Rock is the place to go.
There is also the I 215 beltway trail close by with views of the Strip.

it is out in Henderson - but a very nice place

It's been a few years, but I think it was 8 miles starting at Kellogg Zaher Park and continuing through the Bonanza Trail and looping back.

There are mile markers along the path at Kellogg Zaher, which starts as concrete, then turns to asphalt, then a dirt path.

It's very safe, well lit at night, and has views of lush golf courses, tennis courts and soccer fields, then cars along the 95 as you continue on Bonanza Trail lol.

There is a fire station along the trail, so also, if timing is right, great views of fit firefighters who are also running and training and staying strong!

Red Rock Running Company arranges group runs which are fun and safe if you want the security of others running with you and making sure you depart and arrive safely.

*sigh* I miss running!  Please enjoy it, take pictures along the way, challenge yourself or just enjoy being out in nature and appreciating health, breath, and a strong, healthy body!

What part of town are you in?  I live near Henderson and run around  Green Valley and Sunset Park.   It's safe and there's great scenery.
