I have honestly never heard of a lady having legal issues working here in Las Vegas. The thing I would tell you is ask for references and see who is white listed here. You should have no trouble here. If people can hand out cards with an agency phone number on it right on the strip, you'll be fine.

Just do not walk/work casinos. Some come here to work and think Vegas means anything goes. That is not the case at all.  
If you stick to reputable sites such as here and properly screen who you are meeting, then you will be great! it's fun here!
