Chicago

I go to Chicago. It's very difficult to find a good one in the burbs.

I will say, Eoropean Wax Center changes their wax all the time. It does not pull the hair out anymore. Just breaks it off, so it grows right back.

Very frustrating. Try a spa downtown, where they use multiple waxes for the different types of hair. (E.g. The thin ones, thick ones, and the stubborn ones.)

They'll never seem to get all the hair out anywhere, but it sure helps a lot!

Take a couple Advil about an hour beforehand, drink water, exfoliate for a few days beforehand, and keep your areas moisturizer so the wax doesn't get dry.

Hope this helps.

I have been to Mario Tricoci and wasn't really happy. I had to cancel my appointments for like 2 days last time I was there because she ripped my skin up so bad! I've had it done many times by the nail salons up towards Rockford but need to do it down this way so I was curious if any ladies had a favorite they go to. I'm sure some of you fellas have had your bodies done as well.

She was quick but did it in such big patches I was so raw, inflamed, bleeding and just uncomfortable.

I'd like reasonably priced. usually pay between 40-60. Mario was about 70 I think. Someone who is detailed but quick without rushing thru it. Also, prefer someone who can take walk ins or same day appointments.

You can message me here or PM me.

Thanks everyone!

Because clearly something like that shouldn't happen. Estheticians are not supposed to damage the dermis to the point of bleeding.

On waxing recommendations - I highly recommend European Wax Center. They are very professional and their salons are all across the country. Can't go wrong with them.

Good Luck.

Yes! I've been having issues with EWC recently as well! So frustrating! I've been on the hunt for a new regular HARD WAX salon that is reasonably priced. I'm so glad someone else has noticed this issue with their wax..

I'll let you know how it goes when I try a new place =)
