Another con, probably partially related to number 3.

They supposedly have a higher failure rate(in terms of pregnancy) than male condoms according to the last comparison I saw.

All in all research suggests they are not as good as reg condoms for preventing disease and pregnancy.

Some men - and women - find them off putting. They make a sort of odd 'squishing' noise, which can be rather disturbing.

They're also incredibly expensive!

Perhaps if you politely ask?  It has worked well for me :)

You replied to the wrong post, and there is nothing impolite about me at all. Nada bit! :)

Just that you don't get what you don't ask for.  The FC's rock and I won't use anything else.  Enjoy!

The Cons:
1. they are hard to find, you pretty much have to order them online. I've heard CVS sells them.

2. I have heard some girls complain that they caused them to bleed.

3. I have heard complaints that they break much easier than male condoms.

4. they are only 6" long.  Good for most men, but I don't think they would be adequate for anyone longer than that.

5. they make noise during intercourse.

The Pros:
1. some guys like them because it feels more free than wearing a traditional condom.

2. they are wider than male condoms which is great for guys who are built wider down there.

3. Not made of latex so they are good for people allergic to that.

4. cover more of the lady's outer area which is safer.

5. great for guys who have a performance issues from traditional condoms.

That said, I will get off my butt, start field testing them and submit a full report LOL.  I'm interested to hear what the other ladies here who have already used them have to say about them.

Meijer also carries them at their stores and also most of the regular condoms too,but better yet at a price up to 50% less than most drug chains-a little bonus for everyone.

how to use it properly, put it in and so forth.   Also because they may not be using them for the proper sized gents(causing breakage, or the whole dam thing to be pushed in there).  In our choosen profession you really can't afford screw-ups like that.  So how do you practice?  Get someone you usually dont need it for?  What if you don't have anyone in your life that you can be a little careless with to practice proper use?

All in all, be glad that the ladies here seem to know how to use regular ones...  Trust me there are a few guys who aren't to sure(if you start to put it on wrong and them flip it around so it will roll up, you have now defeated the purpose of them).

I know most ladies carry most sizes(small, med, large, flavored, and Ultra's which are polyurethane)/types.  If you like a looser feel many can also provide the spiral tip(which are really loose toward the tip, and tigher closer to ensure it stays on) or if you usually finish early there are ones that have a little mummer solution in the inside to insure longer lasting.  After screening, or on second visits you might want to mention it or bring(unopened box) the prefered with you...

However since I dont TRUST use of the female condom at this time, there is no way I would use it...  I may try them out if I have opportunity to, but again it would have to be someone I knew better then any guest I have seen...  Have a good one...  The aching has started so I must try to hold off till tomorrow so I give my all, more and more...  Yumm yummm

I agree, it's not safe to field test them with anyone but an SO where an accident or failure isn't that big of an issue.
