I think PayPal is too much of a risk. All the guy would have to do is say he never received his goods/services, and they'd refund the money and you'd have no way to prove otherwise.

Bitcoin would be a better option, no way to try to take the money back. But the exchange rate fluctuates so frequently, and you have to pay fees to transfer it to something you can actually use.

I'd prefer to stick with cash, much simpler.

Had an awesome experience recently with a provider that accepted Paypal. Just curious to see who else might be taking it also.

I believe PayPal owns it but more private with your personal info.

If PP thinks someone has violated their terms of service ($ for anything they think is illegal), they can freeze the accounts and seize the funds. It can be difficult to impossible to fight them and get your (or her) money back. There have been quite a few stories about that on the boards.
.
Someone has posted that giving someone a PP gift card is more secure than a regular gift card (it can only be "cashed" into a registered PP account) and anyone can buy a PP gift card for cash at a brick and mortar shop. Maybe she bought the card herself to upload some cash so she can do some shopping? That's not illegal. No violations.
.
There's another cash-to-payment system called TrustCash. TER formerly used TrustCash for membership payments, but not any more. (Vendor with TC account gives you some kind of invoice number; you go into any bank and pay cash to that invoice at a bank (teller) window. No personal ID needed. Somehow, that cash goes to TrustCash and then to the vendor's (Provider's) account.

I'm just wondering ... the awesome experience was independent of the PP part or paying by PP was a real turn on for you? Would it have been just as awesome paying with cash?

Im a pretty transparent person, but there are risks with paypal. My trusted friends are more then welcome to use paypal.

I've used PP many times for deposits in the past and the only thing that makes me feel half ok with it is that they offer a debit card that you can transfer the PayPal funds to and pull off immediately.

If you don't have the card or takes between 4-7 business days to request your funds to your bank and Due to the fact that they can freeze your funds and all if someone does a charge back or tips them off that it's for adult services.
