ood point; I've been screening providers from the beginning to learn their attitudes towards clothing fetishes. BTW, it's nice to know there are still Wilson's stores somewhere, although they've disappeared from the malls in the Boston area over the past couple of decades

I'm curious if there are any (many?) providers out there who are asked to cater to a leather fetishist?

Obviously the knee jerk reaction is this is a BDSM thing but fetishism is separate from masochism and domination and while one often lends itself to the other, I know there are times I like to have my fetish buttons pushed, but don't necessarily want to experience the harsher aspects of BDSM that sometime come with it.

So I'm interested if hobbyists or providers ever feel the same way or encounter this and how they go about such a meeting?

As a minor aside, I will admit there are sometimes I like the harsher stuff too :)

That say it has to be one way or the other, you can have your kink and not take it over the top every time. If you just want to get your groove on one night with you and a gal pal rocking leather that's fine and yes does go into the bdsm fetish realm. Anything that you use to stimulate sexual excitement that you objectify sexually can be deemed a fetish of sorts.
So have fun and mix it up! It doesn't have to hurt, it sf doesn't have to humiliate, it's all about fun so start slow and push your boundaries a bit. As humans we enjoy fear, it reminds us we're alive and heightens sexual experiences. Experiment with different elements and release yourself.

If only there was a way to find "leather" in reviews. The provider either has to own some or accept it when you provide it. I've written off those who don't and won't. BTW, using root words it is possible to call yourself a "coriaphile"

I especially have a thing for boots. Here's a pic of my favorite pair...

I feel you!  I get a hard-on every time I walk past the Wilson's Leather store in the mall!

A related note: When you are a fetishist, you might have to take pains to communicate that to the provider.  I've had sessions where the provider had such an amazing outfit at the beginning of the session and got naked before I had a chance to say, "But wait . . .  I wanted to enjoy you in that for a moment . . ."

Remember the smell of Wilson's? I love not just the texture and feel of leather but the smell of it as well. I admittedly don't own as much as I'd like to own for leather pieces, however it awakens a dirty, lusty, hungry sexuality within me that other things don't.

I sure miss that store!

Easy to forget until the next time you encounter it, the smell of leather in a Wilson's or other such specialty. But you've forgotten something too, Grace: the sound! I remember my encounter with a visiting Asian in central MA Walmart, after I got close enough to make out the fine lambskin grain of her skin-fitted hip-length coat, but hadn't greeted her yet, she moved, and that soft leather creak from the thick soft leather was something I felt as if it were a hand on my crotch
