I kind of want to get out of the house and watch the game but it looks like my local Mexican Restaurant is the only place I've got in mind so far. It will probably be quiet there at least. I think there might be a better place though. Any last minute suggestions?
Hooters, Twin Peaks, Tilted Kilt...always come to mind, but then again I am a bit biased. Any place with lots of TVs should be good. I have an Applebee's close by that is really good for watching games.
Applebee's might be a good option. I feel badly about going to a bar-like setting since I don't drink much. If I do, it's 1 shot (2 at absolute most) of Ketel One Vodka. Bars don't want customers like me. I might just stick to the Mexican Restaurant since I like one of the owners. He has humble beginnings. He's still muy humble. Just doesn't feel American.
Sports bars aren't for just drinking alcohol. There are good eats too. Sitting at Applebee's with a good plate of baby back ribs and unlimited sweet tea makes for good game watching! I do tend to get distracted from the game at those other establishments though, lol!
Hooters is very distracting, I agree. Maybe the Mexican Restaurant will just have to do. I like supporting that place anyway and it's 0.99 taco during game and some cheap amount for wings also. And it won't be busy. The hottest girl there is one of the humble owner's daughter's (another one is on the rise). I don't look at them. I just look at the guys that work there. I like that humble owner but he's married and his wife is there so I don't look at him that way either (not with anyone looking).
I looked at your reviews earlier and noticed you travel a bit. You seem to have good taste as well. Hope your going for the Falcons.
So sorry, that was a humorous and rhetorical response triggered by the environmemt and my sometimes unthinking sense of humor. I'm new to this board and certainly meant no disrespect.
So....a more appropriate repspose would be......on somebody's lap!
Of course that may serve as a distraction for any true fan.
