viagra, food, and the passage of time

1. As has been said: food in the stomach interferes with he absorption of Viagra. Fat particularly slows it down.
2. A V pill taken on an empty stomach should work within the hour and last for the next three hours.
3. You can see that a date including dinner for 2 hours and then sex for 2  hours makes timing very hard until you know how this works for you.
4. Levitra and Cialis absorption are not interfered with by food theoretically.
I find the best thing is to use Cialis, which is long acting.  You could take it 1/2 hour before you start dinner, eat for two hours, and then have sex and it will be working for the whole date and will still be working later, sometime much later.  I find a full dose (20 mg) lasts me long enough so that if taken before dinner on a friday, it is still working early the next morning.
5. Things are individual.  I have no trouble with erections without any medication and use the Cialis only if I want a prolonged hard on during a long time. (Say a three hour date with someone who I know is active the whole time or with two ladies together.)  I only tell you this because you can't count on the experience of one person to apply to you. For example, If I take Viagra (which I haven't done for a long time) on an empty stomach, I get a really hard erection which lasts for two hours straight, but I have trouble climaxing.(Great for a short show, not so great for my experience of the occasion.)
6. Some useful information: Cialis half life is 17.5 hours, Viagra is 4 hours, Levitra is 4-5 hours.

This is the scenario:  an outcall 4 hr dinner date.  Little guy has had ADD lately. Needs a blue pill to keep his attention during the private time.
Assuming 2 hrs for dinner and 2 hrs for private time. Assuming the lady is gorgeous and dressed to give an erection to a statue. You want to flirt during dinner.  When do you pop the pill?  You don't want to go too early and have to leave the restaurant with a tent pole in your pants. You also don't want to pop the pill too late and risk a less than satisfactory session.
Be interested anyone's experience or opinion.

Do you really have any experience with Viagra?

Just use Levitra. (Or Cialis).

I actually did something like that when I was initially experimenting with Viagra.  Dropped it at the end of the meal before the drive home.  Was a complete waste.  Viagra and food do not go well together.

In my experience, Levitra is much less temperamental and is effective for around 6 hours.

Thanks , good to know.  I used Viagra a few years ago. High dose made me lightheaded but could do a menage a trois with no issues.  Just tried cialis and got ALL of the negative side effects. Headache, back ache, severe indigestion.

I would order room service. Take pill 1 hour before the meet.

How strong is the pill, 20mg, 50, 100? Are you consider "over weight"? If it was me and let's say I was taking a 50 or 100,mg pill..I'd do it a very good hour before my anticipated my play time..But lay off the fatty shit food. In other words, no pizza, burgers and fries with a milk shake...you get it, huh?

I only need a little help.  I don't think fully dressed flirting with give an erection unless there's more touching than should go on in public.  I have been known to pop a pill...  minimum dose...  as I arrive...  & been good to go within 10-15 minutes.  V peaks in an hour or so.
A full stomach would slow absorption but you don't want too much alcohol or belly bloat anyway.  A light meal is better.  I can't abide being hungery but stuffed is no good either.

I would take the dose as you finish dinner...  figuring some lag in getting BCDs...  so the effect should peak during your time together.

Cialis is reputed to be good for a weekend party...  I had a sample...  I got the horrible delayed backache which lasted 3 days.  (Not every one gets it... just my luck! LOL!)   Nothing touched it.  Interestingly, I now take C dailiy for BPH with no problems

I have experience taking viagra under the tongue.  It is bitter as heck, but can be effective in 5-10 minutes.  It also INCREASES the dose compared to swallowing it to the stomach.  So if you take it under the tongue, cut your dose down considerably.
