I tend to go with how attracted I am to the lady but am curious as to how others rate.

Maybe I'm different, but I tend to rate a lady's looks in part on how much chemistry there is between us--the more chemistry, the more attractive I tend to see her, and vice versa
... and wrote occasional reviews (under another name, years ago), I would kind of "average out" the rating for overall looks (as if the knockout body & plain face had numerical values, in other words) but would be more specific in the text of the review.
The face is a bit more elusive to rate than the body, however.
I tend to like a face with some character to it than a bland model like face, though I know there is a lot of variation on that here
I saw this 51 yo today. Awesome body for her age or really any age and considering she has 3 kids. But her face looked "old" and I just had a hard time with it. To rate her appearance would be tough. I wished her face would've been just a tad more appealing, but her body is awesome.

It's tough to figure sometimes. I rarely write reviews anymore but if I do I don't sweat the numbers so much, just pick one and then try and leave some description in the narrative. One thing I try and remember to do is describe how I compare the ladies looks to the pictures in her add or her website. That way the reader can judge for himself.
I often struggle with another type of quandary over looks. The lady opens the door and my first reaction is WOW! She looks hot! Her hair, makeup, and jewelry are all perfect. She is dressed in something sexy, and is completely put together displaying an impressive sense of style. But then as the clothes come off and I dive in to devour her it is revealed that while definitely attractive she is actually closer to average in looks.
So...which look carries more weight? The lady all fixed up and at her best, or the naked woman with her hair messed up and me no longer horny as a billy goat?
I tend to give the gal the benefit of any doubt. Tie goes to the runner sort of thing. And I don't worry about pleasing anyone with the number. It's my honest assessment for better or worse.
I saw a girl about 3 weeks ago.. well a better description would be a woman.. she was a really nice person... was great and I will probably see her again...
When she came to the door of my room I was surprised at how heavy she was... Not BBW really but she had cankles... no end to her calf and no clear ankle.. Then as we talked.. I realized that she was really self conscious about her weight.. said she saw a guy who saw her and said.. I'll take one for the team.. like he was doing her a favor.. she told him to leave... so I haven't reviewed her yet.. she was great.. but I don't want to be dis-honest about her looks and I don't want o hurt her feelings.. she great in every other way.. so that remains a quandary.. Plus I will never walk out on a woman that I have booked with unless she is really disgusting.. but to date and after 30 women or so.. I haven't had to do that.. Most women are really nice people .. and so I always enjoy myself..
so that readers can make an informed decision for themselves. One TER provider I dated several years ago had a smoking body but no face pics. Her website said stuff like I can't reveal my face pics due to the nature of my day job but I guarantee you won't be disappointed. And I read her reviews which all said she looked great and gave her looks a score of mostly 9s. Then I met her. Well.... She did have a smoking hot body, but her face was a huge disappointment. I went through with the date, but her appearance sure wasn't what I had been led to believe, by her own website or by her supposedly honest reviewers. I gave her a 7 or so on looks and explained why in my review. She was pissed! But what's the point of us mongers sharing information if it's not accurate?

Thus I've only rated one provider I've reviewed a 10 on appearance. I'm not adverse to giving out more than one 10, but my "10" has what I consider a perfect body and a beautiful face. I've seen some photos of other providers that, if they're accurate, I'd have no problem with a "10".
For me to give a 9, the lady needs to be model material. Not necessarily runway model or Playboy model, but some kind of model including fitness model.
An 8 for me means most guys would think she's very hot. Here's where I could have given an 8 if the lady has a great body but so-so face, or a gorgeous face and a decent body.
I do make allowance for age. So for example if a 50-year-old provider has a gorgeous body but the face of a 50-year-old, I could very well give her a 9 since it's harder for a 50 year old to keep in that kind of shape than a 25 year old.
And like others, I include text in my reviews to explain my scores, especially if they're outside the norm for the provider.
(overall physical stature, breasts, legs, ass, etc.) and face (eyes, smile, hair, cuteness, etc.).
It's kind of like pornography--hard to define in words but easy to recognize.

I've only met with well reviewed ladies, so I just take the average score and repeat it.
But beauty is so subjective that I don't use the looks scores or even the descriptions given by guys. I do look at the performance rating. If there are too many low scores there I would skip it.
My ex girlfriend was nothing much to look at, but I still all these years later have a powerful urge to fuck her brains out. I'm not entirely sure why. In fact I hooked up with her a few times years late when we were both married to other people and did fuck her brains out.
I do think when women lose control of their weight it can start to get a bit revolting. Old age doesn't bother me at all. As long as they are up for it, I'm in.
None of this means I don't see different levels of physical beauty. It's just not the determining factor in who I will enjoy fucking.

I really like the older ladies - 50+ - with the great bodies, I would have not trouble with that.
I am sure every experienced guy on here has had a few times when you saw the lady and thought, this is not for me - think how many times this happens with the ladies btw - LOL! But most of us are gentlemen and we went through with it and probably enjoyed ourselves. It will happen again, but with the help of sites like this one, we are much less likely to get into a situation where we don't know what's coming - so to speak.

I agree that "athletic" encompasses a wide range of body types. But I'd never book with a provider based only on a one -word description--would you?
I agree....they now have a choice available for "very muscular". Out of the choices, I feel athletic is the best choice for me, but it doesn't really apply. While I do workout frequently in the gym, I don't consider myself very "athletic". Having said that, I am not skinny or thin, I do not have "baby fat" and am not flabby. I am tight and toned, but not muscular. I could perhaps be called curvy, but this is not one of the choices. What other choice is there for a DDD lady with a somewhat toned body and hourglass figure?
I agree this term athletic is open to interpretation but I take it to mean good tone which is high on my list of attractive features. One of the reasons I like spinners as they are usually tight bodies where's the bigger girls not so much. Above all if the woman does not have a narrow waist to give that pinch in the middle that defines the female body my switch does not go on.
So the body is paramount in my scores-after all,it is about having sex with them whereas I give a lot of slack on the facial appearance. Both are influenced by the lady's manner as well.
I have often wondered this myself. I compare myself to a few other ladies I know that have similar scores. A couple of the ladies I have in mind have better bodies (IMHO), but I think I have a cuter face. Another is somewhat on the heavy side but I find her face and features very attractive!
It seems to me that many men look at the scores that are there and make up their minds based upon that! I have lost weight, improved my appearance through exercise and even had some "enhancements", but my appearance scores did not change one iota!
