2015 is here and I wish all you Fellow Hobbyists a very sexy, happy New Year, especially us older guys!! But before we turn our backs on 2014, let's look back and see how our hobby lives turned out. Was it a year for the record books, by your own standards? How many dates did you have last year? How many different partners? How many new partners? What other stats would you like to mention? I'll start:

2014 was a pretty typical hobby year numbers wise. The atf loss was huge, and necessitated the contact of many more new ladies than usual, including old friends. But because of Black Wednesday, some ladies became positively paranoid. Many other new ladies weren't up to the professional standards of the ladies of old, resulting in a lower than normal new session percentage rate. There were some very interesting no session reasons besides the three flakes. One old friend stated that I'd hurt her feelings by not coming to see her for so long. I apologized profusely, tried to explain myself, and agreed to her new, higher rate. But she just couldn't reconcile her hurt feelings. So if you think it's all a show, and feelings can't possibly exist in P4P, think again.
Hey, mojojo, you sure had a busy year! Sorry about the one that got away with her feelings hurt. It happens. I also had one long term atf and a couple of other girls I wished to repeat with disappear. I console myself as you did by finding new playmates, and with the thought that every year there's a new crop of 18 year olds! Your stats seem to indicate an average price per date of around $200 which I envy since my average is closer to $400. Also I was particularly struck by the fact that 34 attempts to set up a date failed. I too have found it necessary to try contacting several ladies in order to produce one date that actually holds. At least with new girls. My current atf is super reliable and always replies. One reason she's my atf.
You know sweetman, there's sometimes a huge learning curve when it comes to this hobby. For both sides. I always find it interesting that many many ladies just don't understand how much reliability plays into becoming an atf. They sometimes think it's just the sex. Nope! Just be there for me when I need you. And be on time!
As far as averages go, I have a variety of friends to choose from. Their range is from $100 to $400. It's nice, and lucky, to find $100 gems. I have two. Because of my job, there are certain times during the year when money is tight. Obviously, my $100 friends become extremely valuable. There are other times during the year when I'm rolling in the dough. A perfect time for my higher end friends. Then sometimes I get the urge to go five in five days. haha Where have I heard that before? So as not to break the bank, the $100 to $200 friends allow such a maneuver. Having such a wide range in friends gives me tons of freedom to execute whatever is needed, or desired. If I ever lost my $100 ladies, my average would skyrocket, or the # of ladies seen would dwindle.
I totally agree about the learning curve. I usually have to drive 60 miles to get to Party City. This one girl I dated there kept delaying and making excuses and finally cancelled after I waited 3 hours and then drove back home. She couldn't seem to understand why I declined to visit her next time she came to town. I've never found a playmate in the $100 range, and my current atf is, gulp, at $500! yikes! But she's so wonderful I'm stretching the budget to see her. I just visited her yesterday to get the new year off to a good start. I've got another lovely local lady asking me when I'm going to see her again. Just wish I had more variety of girls and prices to choose from. There seems to be much fewer visitors here as well. That's a big part of the reason I kinda went overboard my last trip to LA!
I've never found a $100 girl (for an hour?) but I have some terrific $200 girls that keep me going in the lean times, convenient location too.
If one of my more expensive friends reads this, don't worry, I'm still crazy about you and I'll see you soon 
BTW you're right about the huge learning curve. (Did I say huge? It's HUGE.) I'm grateful to have learned so much the last couple of years (thanks ladies!) and I'm pretty confident and happy about the year ahead.

because I was on "hiatus" from the hobby during most of 2014. Also I don't keep detailed records on such things (they can come back to bite you).
I recall in 2014 I had about 16 dates, with 8 ladies, and 5 of those I had not seen before last year. Money spent... I don't know exactly, but I do know it was money well spent!

But in general my year started off with a bang and ended with a whimper. In late January I went to Las Vegas for a M&G on AVN weekend. Sampled several stellar sluts. Then it was off to Costa Rica until St. Paddy's Day. Spent the more than six weeks in between fucking numerous, Ticas, Columbianas, Dominicanas, Panamanians and even one adorable little Cubana. I didn't even try to keep count.
Then some financial issues intervened and I had to cut way back.
The financial issues have persisted but I plan to go to Las Vegas again soon and then to spend February, March and some of April back in CR. What the fuck, it's only money.

Looks like I had a 2014 New Year's resolution, in hindsight. I accomplished some things that I didn't know I wanted but actually did, thus expanding my horizons. I focussed more on repeating with local ladies, and my frequency (and budget) actually went up significantly, as I was not waiting for an ATF from Lancaster to tour. Two of my lovelies used to be on the boards but have sufficient admirers or are less budget driven to be able to be UTR.
The other thing that I found myself doing was repeating immediately with touring ladies that I liked, 2 or 3 times, before they left town. This upped the budget significantly, as I was used to pacing myself. But what the hell, life is short. Even shorter when you get to be my age!
